Unique and Complete Instruction to Improve Your Golf Experience
The third level of understanding has to do with FUNDAMENTALS.
Each student will come to know and understand the foundation of each
skill and how to properly build that foundation before attempting to perform the skill. In respect to learning the game of golf,
the fundamentals that must be learned include: knowing the nature of the golf club and how it is designed to work, ball flight laws,
how to grip the club, how to set the alignment of the body at address and how to set the body posture at address. The understanding
of these fundamentals will lead to an understanding of how to efficiently transfer the desired level of power from the legs through
the core of the body so that it can release into the arms and golf club at the proper time during the swing.
The final level
of understanding has to do with COMMUNICATION.
Communication begins with the conversation each student has with himself as he learns,
as he practices and as he plays. The practice of positive self talk is critical within the context of the second level of understadning,
self awareness. Communication continues with open dialog between the student and the teacher. There should be ample space
for questions and answers as well as disagreements and solutions between student and teacher. Without such dialog it is likely
neither student nor teacher will be effective in reaching for the defined purpose.
With these points of understanding, the learning
process can flow very easily and will become an exciting and fun endeavor. The game of golf has much to offer the individual
by way of positive self development. As an instructor I intend to create a place where such development can improve the golf
experience for each individual that enters into the learning process with me.
And now you are one step closer to excellence...
